Steam in Germany — common questions

Will a Germany Steam gift card work on my account?

Only if your Steam account is set to the Germany region. German codes redeem on the .de storefront. Euro codes are not interchangeable across EU countries for most brands. Region mistakes are not refundable once a code is revealed, so check your account region before you pay.

What values can I buy?

Currently €10.00, €15.00, €20.00, €25.00, €30.00, €40.00, €50.00 and €60.00, and higher.

Am I charged in EUR or in crypto?

The card face value is in EUR. At checkout we convert the discounted total to your chosen coin at the live rate and show you an exact amount to send. There is no currency conversion fee and no card processing fee.

Do I need to be in Germany to buy this?

No. You can buy from anywhere — payment is in cryptocurrency, so there is no bank or billing address check on our side. What matters is the region of the Steam account where you redeem the code, not where you are sitting.

What if the code does not work?

Report it from My Purchases within 24 hours of delivery. We verify the claim and issue a replacement code or a full refund. Every code is balance-checked before it is listed, so this is uncommon.
